What do a high street chain of shops, a premiership football team and a chocolate bar all have in common?
The answer is that they are all managed brands. The way that you see
them is very often the result of very careful planning. The Imps
Motorcycle Display, like a well-known football team, is seen by the
public and therefore our brand also requires brand management.
You may have already seen our new stationery and calendar and seen the
new logo, type and picture treatments that form this new look. Start
magazine also applies the same branding rules, as does our new website.
Like fashion and popular music, brands live in an ever-changing world
and must adapt to prevailing tastes to survive and to thrive. It is
with this in mind that decisions about our logo, for example, have been
taken.
But our brand is not only about how we appear it is also about how our
organisation thinks and behaves. We have taken a thorough look at
ourselves and defined all of our good points and redefined all the bits
that needed improvement.
